What is AI Tinkerers?

AI Tinkerers is a vibrant, global community for AI engineers, founders, and researchers focused on hands-on building, sharing messy side projects, and innovating with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI. We are often described as the “Homebrew Computer Club for AI,” known for fostering open collaboration, early-stage discovery, and pushing boundaries.

We are builders. No futurist panels, no vague disruption talk. Code, demos, and working systems first.

We curate for people rolling up their sleeves. Whether you are debugging latency spikes or shipping breakthroughs through agentic workflows, you must pop the hood, debug in public, and help others do the same.

🎤 Confirmed Demos: Architecture, Trade-offs, and What Broke

This inaugural chapter features four technical deep dives from active builders in the San Lorenzo community. AI Tinkerers is where demos beat decks. Expect short, high-signal presentations focused on implementation details, not product pitches.

Demos are concise, work-in-progress showcases focused entirely on the build itself:

• No pitches. Share a challenge, discovery, or lesson—not a startup promo.
• Demos > Decks. Jump straight into code, serverless graph, or workflow.
• Show & tell. Highlight architecture, tricky bits, and one hard lesson.
• Enable peers. Unblock or inspire another tinkerer with something concrete.

🤖 Submit Your Demo Proposal

The stage is reserved for those actively building. If you have a project, a messy side hack, or a breakthrough you want to share, submit your proposal now. We welcome novel, rough, or even buggy projects, provided you expose the technical internals and answer: “How did you build this interesting thing?”

We are particularly interested in builders leveraging 2026 primitives, such as agentic loop techniques, VLMs, or generative 3D models.
